F-35 Lightning 2 is the name of the aircraft produced by Lockheed Martin. Lockheed Martin cooperates with 9 countries to produce the 5th generation fighter aircraft.

A single pilot is enough to fly the F-35 and it is remarkable that the distinctive features of many different fighter jets are combined in a single aircraft.

Length: 15,67 meters
Height: 4,33 meters
Wingspan: 10.65 meters
F-35A Empty Weight: 13,17 tons

The F-35B and F-35C models weigh about 1.5 tons more than the F-35A.

Unlike other aircraft of the F-35, the weapons and bombs on the plane cannot be seen from the outside. As a result of the guns and bombs in the fuselage, the plane becomes more efficient aerodynamically. This technology provides higher speed, longer range and lower fuel consumption.

The maximum speed of the aircraft is 1932 kilometers per hour. We see that this value is 1.57 Mach.

In addition to the high speed, it is noted that the aircraft achieves sound speed without using the afterburner system.

The other remarkable features of the aircraft are as follows;
Maximum Range: Approximately 2200 kilometers
Climbing Speed: 200 meters per second
Maximum Altitude: 18,000 meters

The F-35A is a model designed for normal take-off and landing, and the F-35B is designed to be able to take off and landing at short distances, and most importantly it is designed for vertical take-off and landing. The F-35C model is fully configured to take off and landing from/to aircraft carriers.
